Normal ApplicationsRoute AJune 2008 - Apply 2009 opens, Applicants can register and start to prepare their applications Mid September 2008 - Applications can be submitted through UCAS 15th October 2008 - Deadline for applications for Oxbridge and Medical, Veterinary Medicine/Science and Dentistry applications (incl. non UK/EU applicant). 15th January 2009 - Deadline for all other applications to have equal consideration (and this applies to non-EU applications too) 16th January 2009 - 30th June 2009 - Students can make applications but universities only have to consider if they still have places available. See the page on Late applications 30 June 2009 - Deadline for all non-EU applications (however you need to apply before 15 January to receive guaranteed equal consideration and, given visa requirements, it is recommended that non-EU applicants try to apply by 15th January wherever possible) Route B12th February 2009 - UCAS starts to send Route B art and design applications to first choice universities/colleges 6th March 2009 - Advisory Deadline for Art and Design Route B Applications 24th March 2009 - Deadline for 'on-time' Art and Design Route B Applications 11th June 2009 - Final Deadline for all Art and Design Route B Applications Extra26th February 2009 - UCAS Extra opens 30th June 2009 - UCAS Extra closes Clearing5th August 2009 - SQA Results Day.
