Sixth Form Personal Statement

I have enjoyed a number of trips with the school including drama productions, dances shows, pantomimes, bowling trips, theme parks, Madam Tussaudes and educational trips such as the globe theatre and an ice hockey trip related to our maths coursework. These trips have made me feel very positive about being at Gable hall school. Over my 5 years at this school I have joined a number of clubs not only in sports but in Drama and Dance clubs and was a member of a number of sports teams such as Grounders and Gym, and over time my abilities have developed especially in leadership skills and I am now more confident in working as part of a team

I have took on lots of responsibilities such as leading a lower school drama group in my own time, also came along to school council as representative for my form. I have also taken part in inter-form events and ran over dance club activities. Also I have taken on the role of being a prefect

Out side school I belong to a dancing school, and used to be in a netball team until I left because of my age. I also have a Saturday job in a sports shop called inter sport where deal with customers and I am able to work a till. This has given me great experience of working with the public. Also during my trident I helped out after school in a club within the school. It was to extend children's learning and to have fun within it. I helped out with the art dance and music side of the organisation

As a result of my time at Gable Hall I have become confident outgoing cooperative caring diligent and conscientious. I have also learned about the appropriate skills that will help me in my later experiences of work such as being able to work as part of a team, expressing my opinions to others, happy to get along and work well with all people and ready to meet new challenges

My hopes for the future are to get good results in my G.C.S.E examination. Then I hope to go on further and get into an enjoyable job which would involve theatre work either on stage or theatrical make up or acting, or in hair and beauty. I could see my self and my career leading into both hair and beauty therapy or the fashion industry. I am keen and positive about my future and can't wait to get started.
