Teaching Personal Statement

My reasons for pursuing a career in teaching are numerous. It offers a range of fields which I feel I would excel at and would give me a chance to help children with learning difficulties which I feel is very important. I am confident in my ability's and I feel I am the right person for this line of work because of my past experiences in teaching.

In 5th year at my High School I went for a week on work experience to Earlview Primary School. I found it to be very interesting and I learned a lot from it. I had to teach the class and I found the experience invaluable and after my work experience I became very interested in teaching and I hoped I could become a teacher after I left school with good enough qualifications. My past experiences have helped me develop qualities that are essential for a job in teaching.

My hard work and motivation to learn have enabled me to develop a broad foundation of knowledge in this area and I am also very good at working with people. Also I play football outside of school and it could be useful if I want to teach PE in schools. I think I have the motivation and desire to accomplish my goals.
