The WHO is still awaiting a response form China.. and warns China that if this delay continues - an investigation team will be sent to observe/ analyse the situation.

Please be warned that if it comes to the attention of the WHO that precautions were not being undertaken, action will be taken.

Russia would like to apply light pressure to china to respond to the WHO, but also appeals to the WHO for balance and patience during this period of MUN upheaval, especially when the chinese rep is going for SG.

China would have absolutely no hesitations in welcoming the attention and assistance that a WHO visit would involve. We hasten to reassure the WHO, and the entire international community, especially those nations with which we trade, that safety in food and drug production is of the highest priority to our government. The issue is of life and death significance; a conviction which has prompted us to sentence to death Zheng Xiaoyu, our former head of Drug and Food Administration for his failings in this area. We are following this measure up with a review of the administration, especially those areas dealt with by Zheng.

The WHO is pleased that China have taken the right measures in controlling the food and drug industry, thereby securing the well-being of it's nation.
If requested, the WHO will be happy to assist.

China thanks the WHO for their kind attention, and assures the body that should the situation arise, we would be most happy to accept the WHO's attention.
