Work experience year 12

I need to look for some work experience for may in finance sector. Where do i start? I don't really know anyone who works in this industry. I know there are big firms out there but should i even bother contacting them?

looking for work experience is so painful! my school has a database managed by the local council, there might be one for your area? teachers can point you in the right direction, especially if you don’t have connections. it’s all a bit nepotism-y tho
